Sakarya University provides access to educational resources for those who do not study at the university by providing training within the scope of lifelong education services, organizing public events and sharing the university's information resources with the public.

First of all, all education programs within the scope of lifelong education of Sakarya University are carried out within the university's Continuing Education Center (SAÜSEM) (https://sausem.sakarya.edu.tr/). Within the scope of training carried out by SAÜSEM, there are various trainings such as vocational training, technical training and certificate training as well as short courses for people who are not attending the university. People who have never received a university education or who want to gain different competencies in their careers can attend these trainings, receive certificates depending on the type of training, and participate in job placement programs. These trainings can be diversified according to the demands of sectors and stakeholders. All trainings are open to everyone, and there are paid and free trainings.

Other education programs carried out by Sakarya University within the scope of lifelong learning are postgraduate education programs and courses like MBA. Among these programs, evening education programs, especially those carried out on weekends, are suitable for the participation of people who want to improve themselves within the scope of lifelong learning.

In addition, students studying at different universities can attend classes at Sakarya University if their institutions accept. Additionally, they can enroll in all courses offered in the summer school without requiring pre-admission. In addition, Sakarya University organizes public events such as public trainings, seminars and social education events. The university's congress center and general purpose halls are used for events organized by the university, as well as hosting similar events of different institutions.
