Water Consumption

Our university measures the total amount of water used in all areas of the university, taken from the mains, desalinated, or extracted from rivers, lakes, or aquifers. The water obtained from the springs within the borders of the campus is stored in 5 separate tanks. All green areas in the campus are irrigated automatically with the water taken from the source. Irrigation channels are laid on the floors of green areas. During irrigation times, the tanks where the spring water accumulates are operated and the pressurized water is transported to the underground irrigation canals. The water accumulation and irrigation process of green areas are in an automatic cycle.
