There is a Women's Studies Application and Research Center within Sakarya University (https://saukam.sakarya.edu.tr/), which operates to conduct research on issues that particularly concern women, to develop policies and practices for the empowerment of women in society. Within the Sakarya University Women's Studies Application and Research Center, studies are carried out to identify areas where women are a minority and to increase the orientation of women in these areas.
In addition, support is provided by Sakarya Technocity and Incubation Center to support women entrepreneurs. Women entrepreneurs have businesses or start-up companies in the Technocity and Incubation Center (http://www.sakaryateknokent.com/firmalar). The development of these enterprises is also followed by the Women's Studies Application and Research Center.
