Sakarya University provides advice on its expertise by being appointed as a consultant to government agencies and policy-making organizations at local, regional and national levels. Sakarya University provides and supports the appointment of experts at national, regional and local levels by the decision of the university board of directors. The Technology Transfer Office structure within Sakarya Teknokent was created to facilitate the knowledge transfer of academicians. Academicians of the university offer their expertise in this context by appointing experts.
Academicians of Sakarya University take part in the projects of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), which is the largest funding institution for the largest research projects in Turkey. In addition, there are projects and joint research activities carried out with different government institutions.
