Sakarya University faculty members are appointed as members or consultants in policy making for the purpose of implementing programs and policies to end poverty in all its dimensions in local (SESAM), regional (SESAM), national (ISEFAM, İKSAR) or global (SETA) organizations. Within the scope of these duties, faculty members regularly conduct research and publish reports in the mentioned institutions. These prepared reports are shared with the society and relevant administrative units (municipalities, ministries, etc.). Thus, our faculty members contribute to decision-making processes on economic issues and initiatives to reduce poverty in all dimensions.
In addition, some of our faculty members regularly participate in television programs every week on many national and local television channels, including the state's national television channel (TRT), and make economic evaluations in the sessions in order to inform the society and decision-makers.
