Sakarya Technocity

Sakarya University's largest subsidiary is Sakarya Technocity. The biggest partner of Sakarya Technocity is Sakarya University.

Sakarya Teknokent A.Ş. was established in 2009 in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers, which came into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 27.08.2008 and numbered 26980, and started its activities in 2010. Partners of Sakarya Teknokent A.Ş.; It consists of Sakarya University, Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, Adapazarı Municipality, Serdivan Municipality, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sakarya Commodity Exchange and Sakarya University Foundation. Sakarya Teknokent, the only Technology Development Zone in Sakarya province, provides services in three separate buildings within the approximately 50,000 m2 area allocated as Technology Development Zone within the borders of Sakarya University. In blocks A, B and D, there are a total of 103 offices for the use of R&D companies, as well as 1 conference hall, 2 VIP meeting rooms, 2 meeting rooms, 3 administrative offices, 1 exhibition area and 1 restaurant. The ROSEM building, which serves as an incubation center, has a total of 32 offices, 1 meeting room and 1 conference hall. The total closed service area of the four buildings is approximately 5,659 m2. A total of 103 companies operate in Sakarya Teknokent, 30 of which were founded by faculty members. These companies have successfully completed 273 projects so far and continue to work on new projects.
