The University implements academic monitoring, student advising, and financial and social support mechanisms to reduce barriers that may affect students' ability to continue and successfully complete their studies.
The University's 2023–2027 Strategic Plan provides an institutional framework for improving the quality of education, monitoring student development, and strengthening student support services. Within this framework, academic advising and student information systems contribute to tracking students' academic progress and identifying their educational support needs.
In addition to academic advising services, Sakarya University provides various forms of financial and social support to students experiencing economic difficulties. The SAU Meal Scholarship Programme provides free meals to students in financial need throughout the academic year, helping to reduce essential living expenses and support educational continuity.
Financial support is further strengthened through faculty-level scholarship mechanisms. Scholarship and assistance activities carried out by the Faculty of Theology Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine Scholarship Commission contribute to alleviating financial difficulties that could otherwise negatively affect students' academic participation and their ability to complete their studies.
